Sustainability

Sustainability is an important topic for Lasersheets. We believe in combining innovative production (e.g. laser cutting) with responsible materials, to create more environmentally conscious products.

Creating new products and objects will always have an environmental impact. But laser cutting makes it possible to make exactly as much as is needed. This means there is less overproduction, which reduces the burden on the environment.

Fortunately, there are now aesthetically pleasing and durable materials available in the market that unquestionably represent a more sustainable choice. We take pride in featuring a range of FSC® certified wood species in our selection. Additionally, we offer recycled materials within our plastics category. The market for sustainable materials is currently undergoing significant development, and we rigorously test everything that can be laser cut to provide you with the finest materials available!

Green Cast® is 100% recycled cast acrylic from the supplier Madreperla.

Green Cast® is the most environmentally friendly and especially green choice in the acrylic world.

The recycled acrylic known as Green Cast® is basically crystal clear, colorless sheet material. In addition, the material is always colourfast and UV-resistant.

The big advantage of this material is that it can be recycled infinitely without loss of quality. This means that the material can be very well reused.

It is a completely circular material.

ASTARIGLAS® ECO CAST is a recycled and recyclable type of acrylic.

As raw material, depolymerised-MMA (DMMA) with a very high degree of purity (≥ 99%) is used, exclusively produced in Astariglas' own factory, to produce high-quality recycled and recyclable cast acrylic sheets with the same quality as cast acrylic sheets made from new MMA.
